My name is Chad Shiver I am nineteen years old and I am an aspiring country music artist. I play the guitar in all of my songs and I sing as well. I just really got started singing agian for the first time since i started highschool because there was always something else going on. I have sung in several different Choirs throughout my childhood and now that I am in college. So for now Im trying to get the kinks out and knock some dust off the old vocal chords. My dream is to one day move to Nashville and sing and play guitar for a living. I love to play pretty much all sports and I love my family and my beautiful girlfriend. It seems like banjo might be easier than mandolin just because of how you pick like on mando you just have one pick but on banjo you use three fingers. I don't really know though. I have never played banjo. I'm only going by my idea.

Yeah banjo is a great instrument and if you come to thursday nights you can meet a great banjo player who is really good that could teach you a little bit if you wanted. Wayne Arrington. How long have you been playing guitar?
Well I've been playing for about 5 years. I'm still trying to learn and stuff but its really hard to keep up now that school has been taking up most of my time. I just enjoy music in general. I mean if there is an instrument in front of me I am going to try and learn how to play it but mandolin is one of my favorites.
Oh yeah man! That would be great. We play every Thursday night starting at 7:30 unless otherwise like this past night we didn't play because one of the guys were out of town and then Mr. Pat plays with us as well. It's mainly bluegrass music but its so much fun to play.
