My favorite composer is John Williams, although I enjoy Danny Elfman and Dave Gruisin as well.

Television
Old MTV shows/cartoons from the 90's (such as Beavis and Butthead, Ren and Stimpy, The Head, The Maxx, Liquid Television). Keeping Up With The Kardashians is the only thing I devoutly watch right now (for obvious reasons). I also enjoy the History Channel with its shows on the Bible, UFOs and anything else interesting.
Books
The Bible, books on the Bible, philosophy and sociology books, comic books and anything really weird. Catch A Wave: The Rise and Fall of Brian Wilson. The Making of Star Wars. This really cool horror series that's out of print from the 90s which contained the three books Stalkers, Predators and Night Screams.
