Charles Chadwick's Interests
General
Well, I like filmmaking of course, and assembling horrfying collages of Kenny Rogers and L. Ron Hubbard. Shooting Thomas Kinkade with an automatic 12-gauge (his picture, not him). Watching old Forever Knight episodes. Going to funerals and weddings. Drinking triple caramel macchiatos. Meditating on the nature of power. Getting rejected from film festivals and art schools. Attending the Cartesian Theater. Editing Ronald Reagan's visage. Making wage slavery interesting.

Currently listening to A Tunnel Dialogue, Absolute Body Control, Antony and the Johnsons, Aphex Twin, Artifice Construct, cEvin Key, The Church, Cocteau Twins, Coil, Convertor, Courter Mane, Current 93, Dead Can Dance, Death in June, Depeche Mode, Dive, Doubting Thomas, Download, Einsturzende Neubauten, Fortitudo/White Alex, Grandmaster Flash + The Furious Five, Half-Mast, Johnny Cash, Joy Division, King Tubby, Klinik, Land, Les Joyaux de la Princesse, The Legendary Pink Dots, Low, Lustmord, Ministry, Nico, Noisex, Pan Sonic, Pat Benatar, RevCo, Roy Orbison, Scott Walker, Skinny Puppy, Sol Invictus, Sonar, Synapscape, Tear Garden, Twilight Circus, and Vashti Bunyan.

Books
I pretty much worship Philip K. Dick. Everything else is mere entertainment.
Looking-glass: A vitreous plane upon which to display a fleeting show for man's disillusion given.
Under a juniper-tree the bones sang, scattered and shining.
We are glad to be scattered, we did little good to each other. Under a tree in the cool of the day, with the blessing of sand. Forgetting themselves and each other, united. In the quiet of the desert.
We are the hollow men
We are the stuffed men
Leaning together
Headpiece filled with straw. Alas!
Our dried voices, when
We whisper together
Are quiet and meaningless
As wind in dry grass
Or rats' feet over broken glass
In our dry cellar
Shape without form, shade without colour,
Paralysed force, gesture without motion;
Those who have crossed
With direct eyes, to death's other Kingdom
Remember us -- if at all -- not as lost
Violent souls, but only
As the hollow men
The stuffed men.

Who I'd like to meet:
And any artists from wherever who want to communicate, especially those who reside in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Spent the last forty minutes here watching your films and enjoying your them tremendously. I'm not going to use a lot of words to describe your pieces, except atmosphere and beauty!
Hiya Mr.Charles, hope you had a very nice xmas w/ family and friends. Hearing about that ponsy-schemer offing himself was about one of the sweetest gifts i could ever ask for, may others of his ilk follow his good example.
So you working on any of your projects lately? Maybe i'll be seeing you soon, take good care.
I don't know what you personally meant by that Charles, but lately people have been saying the right things to me that make me think. that one word was one of them. very strange.
Great show, Charles! Thanks so much for your bringing your work. Please stay in touch and we would love to have you back in the future. xoxo 4d dream-a-thon
