Influences
The Stanley Brothers, Flatt & Scruggs, Bill Monroe, the Country Gentlemen and all the classic masters of grass.
We also love most of the newer grass groups as well. Groups such as Lonesome River Band, Seldom Scene, IIIrd Tyme Out and many many more.
The varied tastes in the band range from Death Metal(Coy) to Opera(Paul). Jump in one of our cars, and you might hear groups like Pantera(Jamie), Wham(Phil), or all the way to Glenn Miller and Tupac(Bud).
99% of the time though, you are most likely to hear grass or "REAL" country music such as Merle Haggard, George Jones or Hank Snow.
Sounds Like
A cut monkey, with a broken arm in a cast playing a scrub-board for a nasty reggae band in a swamp in Lousianna. Actually, our sound has been described as mixing the old driving "hammer ’em over the head grass", with a new twist. Most people after seeing us perform, comment on the drive of our old time standards, our original compositions, and our harmonies.
Hey Guys, I like the way Ronnie moves his fingers too! I seen where you will be in Williamstown on the 5th. We will be down there for a wedding but if we can sneak out early we may just come to see ya'll. We are going to be in Wilmington this weekend, hope to see you there. Love you guys.
