Hi, I'm Chairman Barnes. And, I'm asking you to vote for me on election day.
In other news: Don't ask me about aardvarks. I lost my best friend in a freak ant-eater accident. I'm still traumatized by anyone with a long nose and a sticky tongue.
Seriously, perhaps you've seen me on TV but only if you have a strange eye affliction that prevents you from blinking. I've been seen ever so briefly in an IBM commercial and a Jack in the Box spot with lots of parrots. I also have the distinction of killing American Dreams. I had a one-line bit part on the very last episode. Here are some samples.
Fortunately, I've got friends who put me to work in their indie films and plays. I'm a member of Sacred Fools Theatre Company and an associate member of Ark Theatre Company. Recently I was seen in the Sacred Fools produced, Doug Clayton directed The Mystery of Edwin Drood. Currently, I'm booth announcer and understudy for the smash-hit Louis and Keely Live at the Sahara written by and starring the amazingly talented duo Vanessa Claire Smith and Jake Broder and directed by the incomparable Jeremy Aldridge. Go Google the reviews. It's unbelieveable.
When I'm not going on endless auditions and craving attention, I sometimes slink out of the spotlight to go and check out some of the great live bands to be found here in Los Angeles.
