Bio
The backgrounds of the three members of Chalian are quite different, which can be heard in the music. Julian always worked with synthesizers and electronic devices. He played and sang in some EBM and Goa-oriented groups. Whereas Chandra's background is more theater-staged, having studied at an opera school and acted in musicals. But she also has additional experience singing in bands. The most important influences are Triphop, Electro, Goa and New Wave. Chalian was founded in 2002 by singer Chandra and tinkerer Julian. It was only in 2005, due to other engagements of both, that they managed to work together more intensively and give concerts. In late autumn 2007 professional guitarist Daniel joined the group.
