Well there used to be some self endorsing narcissistic filler here with reference to the band and supernova explosions. In lieu of that nonsense I’ve decided to address more band relevant questions. Like what’s up with the syringe? Is it symbolic of the “drugs” in a Sex, Drugs, and Rock N Roll lifestyle? To the contrary, it’s more an icon of the medical and Hippocratic lifestyle. Not everything in a syringe is Heroin ya know, that’s what the Jack is for. On that note, and to address another often posed question, not everyone in the band is a physician. Why not? Well some of us have to be the thinkers in the midst of these stick shaking shaman (I’m sure I’ll pay for that comment later). Speaking of shaking sticks, what’s a Vibraslap? I’m not sure but it adds a 10% coolness factor to any song. On a final note, no, we are not sponsored by Diet RockStar energy drink. So why the big push? Sufficient to say, our most creative and enduring contribution to the scene is more likely to be “The JACKSTAR”, than our music…..ask your bartender. See you at the next show boys and girls.
Hi Tap! I have a few shows in the Phoenix area this week w/ Michael Mandrell & Anton Mizerak. Concerts are 2 hours & are provided on a donation basis. It's a show that you'll certainly enjoy & everyone who comes to the show is glad they came. Anton Mizerak plays keyboards, harmonic & tabla. He creates meditation & healing music. His work has been featured on Soundscapes & his massage CD "When Angels Dream" was called the Best Massage CD ever made by Massage Magazine! Anton provides meditation music at Asilomar & also plays harmonica with featured musicians. Michael Mandrell is an extremely talented Celtic Folk guitarist and will play some of his originial compositions as well as some old Irish Pub tunes. Michael has been featured on NPR and is known for blending Celtic / Folk guitar with Tabla. I will be singing some of my original songs, backed up by these world-class musicians. GREG....is this the right place???? I've been leaving messages & get NO answers!@!!! I have NO idea where Champagne Tap has been.........I was asked to be a friend & responded BUT I already was a friend ....then I never heard anything!! What's even worse is that I now work EVENINGS (plus I seem to be at McDowell alot....& NEVER see Greg anymore!!!! Yikes, I'm heartbroken & never hear from "you'se guys" .....Matt, where are you?
