At last, here are the videos from the October jam...
First on show this month is Alan, ably backed by Pedro, Gianni, Pat and Olly singing a song that appears to be about monkeys and Chicago
and no doubt some other things too...
Following swiftly on, Barry shows a hitherto unrevealed talent for singing the blues, backed by Kacper, Stan, Pat, Olly and Gary on "Little Red Rooster"...
Next we have Stan singing "Eyesight to the blind" with Helen, Rory, Greg and David providing a veneer of talent...
Olly, Gianni and Pat are back, with Martin singing "Everyday I have the Blues"...
And while they are there, we might as well have a slightly funky little instrumental...
Just to prove there were other drummers present, Rob takes over the tub thumping duties behind John singing "Red House" with various bonks, twiddles and tinkles provided by Pedro, Pat, Albert and Rod.

PLEASE NOTE !!! from November 2009, the jam will be moving to the LAST MONDAY of the month - Monday 30th November and the SECOND MONDAY of the Month - Monday 14th December. So two jams a month at Champions!
A real jam for blues musicians and blues lovers alike, bands will be assembled from whoever attends - not ENTIRELY randomly but with a view to ensuring the most fun for all present. If you want to play just put your name on the list when you come in.
If you can play a twelve bar blues on any instrument there will be something here for you... and that goes for 8 bars, 16 bars and any other blues related format!
All the equipment will be provided, drums, guitar amps, bass amp, keyboard, mics, PA and lights - just bring your axe... or harps... or voice... or fiddle. Or indeed, just bring your bum and stick it in a seat and enjoy the music.
We'll be recording, videoing and photographing madly throughout the evening and the highlights will be posted on here.
This is a real opportunity for likeminded musicians to get together and "network", drink, play, promote, sell gear - whatever...
