It's all about the ukulele. And the bass. And drums. And the vocals. And the trumpet is pretty awesome, too...but mainly, it's all about the ukulele.
Formed in 2004 by Love Jones members Barry Thomas (bass), Ben Daughtrey (vocals, drums) and Jonathan Palmer (vocals), and current Bow Wow Wow and Common Sense guitarist Phil Gough (ukulele). The ukulele-centric quartet now features former Toledo Show bassist Rich Kratt on bass, and Ted Schumacher on the trumpet. The fellas have been performing in the Hollywood area whenever the urge strikes them. Barry Thomas retains an emeritus role in the band from a remote, undisclosed location. when's the SF show? Also I'm pretty sure I've been to more shows than Jake Shimabukuru. But I guess it's a Ukelele shout out. He can be in your top 8, i guess.
