About me: We began making films as far back as 1997,back then it was more of a film hobbie- a few early works never completed or we lost interest in! It wasn't until Dec 2000 for the first time we realised the potential of what we could do with what little we had. 'The Veil' made us believe we were on to something. Working on the script's complexities we wanted to make it more than just your average teen horror flick and more of a thinking man's horror film. The result; a two and a half hour horror show,complete with underlining subplots and flashbacks drawing their way to a terrifying conclusion. There's more twists than a spiders web and a sub-plot more important than the walking corpses gathering outside! An Apocaliptic debut with more survivalistic realism than your average zombie movie,it almost comes across as a gritty post cold-war scare movie genuinely looking out of time in stark black and white. 'The Veil' (2005) was the result of four years of weekends made by three guys, alot of determination, and help of some friends and work collegues paid off with booze! The soundtrack was by old school friends the awesome 'Halo ego Trip' and the late great 'Quartet' that have now separated into two bands 'Lana' and 'Duppy' both exceptional. 'The Veil' will finally see DVD release 8/1/08! So look out for it! See our years of hard work on one DVD! As all the current 'new wave'of Zombie films came out film after film jumping on the band wagon ours- was buried. Who knew? Now it's coming out of the ground for air to see the light of day.It's been maturing with the worms. So have we.'The Veil' not another Zombie movie.Flawed but a good Debut. we've paid our dues we've suffered for our art,so you can enjoy this DVD so enjoy...
