....Exposed to music and surrounded by musicians for his entire life. Tragedies have messed up any motivation to conform to society. Song-writing and performing live music is the desired realm of existence. Chance want's to "do his part", and then some. Plays with just about anyone and excells in multiple genres. Roots are in Gospel, but he broke away young, loving Rock, R&B, and Soul. Records at home, jamming and recording these originals, while playing guitar for several NE Louisiana bands. Notorious for being the only "white boy" in several local, black R&B bands, like L C Smoove, and Earl Duke. Also, lead vocals and guitar for "Heavy Weather". Great vocalist with incredible range and sustain. Slide guitar is emphasized as an exceptional style signature. However, Chance is an excellent drummer, and a very creative bassist too. He has recorded in Nashville, for various songwriters, produced and engineered several originals in the past few years. Chance Lain continues to be heard, and is one of a kind. Only if there were bigger clubs in the area, and more people would get up off of their things. Chance is a full time musician. What else is it to do for a long haired, ear bob wearin', dirty ass rocker boy? Maybe we'll all find some answers thru music. I absoltley love the clean riff that kicks the track off. Very strong and inviting to the listener.

Lead Vocals: WHY EVEN BOTHER ASKING!?!?!?!?! This guy has got some serious pipes! I am not loose with praise, but this guy could sing from a lawn mowers owner's manual and it would sound good. His voice is amazing and his delivery is fantastic.
The lead guitar strikes just the right balance between clean and grit which is refreshing because lead players in this genre think you have to be super distorted to do a lead break. His phrasing is very tasteful.
Drums: Expertly played, excellent technique and decision making with regards as to what to play and when.
Overall the musicianship is fantastic, the delivery is great, everything about this track. Essentially this is Madison Square Garden level playing. IF you could get a finished commercial quality recording of this track it would sell like hot cakes.
