'Chandra' (pronounced Sharndrar) is a 5 piece family band who formed in early 2005 and have performed at various venues such as 'The Maldon Folk Festival' in Nov 2005, 'The Allies Hotel' Dec 2005 & have up and coming gigs at different shows. The 'Chandra' band members are all singers, songwriters and all individually play different instruments which they integrate, bringing a wonderful refreshing sound to their listeners. With a variety of Folk, Celtic, Alternative, Blues & Latin Jazz styles this band brings with them a touch of raw, catchy, melodic sounds that many people with eclectic taste can relate to.
