Chanese was born and raised in Harlem NY and began playing the guitar at the age of 10. Chanese's ability to play as well as sing was one given to her by God and not taught by man. In 2001 Chanese began to take her gifts and minister to a vast range different audiences. Over the past years her self-written songs have been able to reach the lost, hurt, and depressed and her messages of healing and hope have touched the lives of countless people. Chanese's sound is often compared to the likes of Lauryn Hill and India Aire. Her songs include the hits "The Joy" and "Good Thing". Chanese has appeared on albums with artists such as: Conquest, Manifestation of Praise, Blessed, Manna, Thomas Warren Jr, The "FX" Project and Simian Child. She is also a solo artist for Key & Kay Productions Inc. Chanese is currently working on her upcoming debut album tentatively entitled "In my life". Key & Kay Productions Inc. is in the process of seeking to sign Chanese with a major record company.
Chelsea (12 years old) performs Beethoven and Chopin at a church. Different musicians got together to share each others talents. It’s normally called a shed. Chelsea thought it was comical to hear other musicians reacting to her performance. Check it out.
