Unique, powerful, haunting, energetic - all these words describe Change of View but none seem to fully describe the immense impact and presence these rockers have on stage.
Since the band was established in 2005 it has added the talents of Andrew Burke on bass, Nicholas Leibbrant on drums and in early 2007, Richard Kuiper on guitar. Along with founding members Phil Joubert on vocals and Nick Kuiper on lead guitar, these boys have it all: The talent, the sound, the attitude and a passion that can only lead them straight to the top.
In the time these 5 have played together they have swept their home town Somerset West off its feet, conquered Cape Town and even played at the prestigious Woodstock festival...all in the span of a few months. With jaw dropping songs like 'Morphine Love' and 'The Knife', it is easy to understand why. Describing themselves as "Progressive Psycho Rock" their perfect blend of alternative melody, hard-hitting rock and post-hardcore sentiment will find its way straight to your heart and leave you with a screaming desire for more as you rock the night away!

Thanks for accepting me as a friend! Saw you performing at the Waterfront when I was in Cape Town for a holiday and to visit a friend late December! – It was an awesome show and I really like your guitar sound! – So it happened that I bought your CD and brought it to Europe. – Hope to see you over here some day ;-)
My Deepest Fear... “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
