An energy packed show band formed in 2005 in Idyllwild, California, CHANGE REQUIRED’s style is a fusion of classic and contemporary rock, soul, country, Motown, disco, bluegrass, blues, jazz, folk music, and more. Featuring a four-to five-piece band, male and female lead vocalists, and three-part harmonies reminiscent of the Eagles, CHANGE REQUIRED plays original songs as well as covers of favorite bands and artists spanning many decades. With two self-released CDs and over 150 original songs, CHANGE REQUIRED has a big sound and stellar momentum.
Members of CHANGE REQUIRED have toured around the states and in Europe, and have performed with Jerry Lee Lewis, Freddie Fender, Emmylou Harris, Jerry Garcia, Herb Jeffries, Gary Allen, Norman Blake, Spencer Davis, Don Felder and many others.
CHANGE REQUIRED has appeared at numerous venues throughout California, including the Palomino Club Hollywood; Crazy Horse Saloon; Cowboy Boogie; Long Beach Blues Festival; Cahuilla Casino; Glen Helen Pavilion; Marina Palace, Long Beach; Golden West Ballroom; The Roxy; The Belly Up; and for three years running, Jazz in the Pines, Idyllwild, California.
