In 1989, a group of teenage boys got together and began to sing unto God.The group decided to call themselves "Peace",one word with a great meaning.
Over the years they lost and gained different members but was still effective in the kingdom. They traveled to and fro singing and opening up concerts for famous artists at many local churches and conferences in the tri-state area. After four years however,the members of Peace went on in various directions of their lives.
As time passed, former Peace members Tito Dendy, Greg Jones, Xabein Hawthorne, Tromell Blassingame, William and Rob Burgess kept in close contact with each other and always discussed getting back together one more time for a reunion. So, in September 2005, after eleven years, Peace got back together to minister at the New Life Church in Spartanburg, SC for their annual Family & Friends Day. As they began to minister, the anointing fell, lives were changed and instantly each of them knew that God had more work for them to do in the kingdom.
They did not realize the full calling on their lives nor did they respect it eleven years prior. They were just singing and not living what they were singing about. Now, their lives are rededicated and they are sold out for Christ; willing vessels ready to be used fully by Him. No longer just singers, they are ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ. God Changed them!
In the book of Acts, Simon's name was changed to Peter and Saul's name was changed to Paul once they both came into and accepted their true anointing and the call of God in their lives. It is through this revelation that Peace felt compelled to rename themselves with a name that signifies the new life God has given them. Peace is now "Changzed".
