Selecta and Remixer Black Terra practices the art of “turntablism” since 1999.
Starting at the age of 14 as a hip hop DJ, he got in touch with that kind of music the first time.
Fascinated by the Caribbean sound and lifestyle, it was just a question of time until he strictly specialized in Reggae & Dancehall.

In 2004 it came to the fateful meeting with Smokie – the Top a Top Selecta for Roots Reggae and Lovers Rock.
After both discovered their connection through the same vibe and had rocked a few classical home parties, they decided to spread their kind of music taste to a broader audience.

Therefore Chant Daun the mighty lion was born.

The only thing missing was an MC (DJ) who Black Terra and Smokie finally found in Larson.
The man behind the mic knows, how to interact with the crowd in a special way.
He already gained some experience since his co-founding of “ultrasound” - the first reggae soundsystem in Cottbus (est. 2000).
After he initially supported Chant Daun successfully in the “Time Jump Clash 2007” and at several subsequent events Chant Daun managed to recruit him as a permanent sound - member, so that he completes the sound since 2008.
Besides promoting their regular “Caribbean Stylez”, in which they host different sounds and artists, the mighty lion also streaks through Germany and the whole Europe to raise his roaring voice.

His way brought him through several german cities like Berlin, Görlitz, Dresden, Kiel, Heilbronn, furthermore through Montreuil/Paris (France) and Skopje (Macedonia).

Additionally Shows with sounds and artists like „ The Mighty Pow Pow Movement“, „Soulfire Hi Fi“, „High Power Station“, „Tropic Hill“, „Yardstyle Sound“, „Jahcoustix“, „Tiger Hi Fi“, „Ganjaman and many more were part of the mission.

Since the mighty lion Chant Daun knows what he owes his pack, he gave himself the task of always having an ear for the massive.

At this point it is time to big up all headz and the massive, supporting Chant Daun all the time!
