Sounds Like
Nothing you've ever heard before, or Elastica, B-52s, & RATM all rolled into one very strange but tasty brew.
Chaotika is a bunch of part-time freaks making music you need to hear. Originally formed as the cover band Criminal Frequency, we've been playing together in the DC metro area since 1999. When one of us was hit by a meteor (or was it a car wreck, it's all so hazy), we took advantage of the hiatus to work up some original rockers. With everyone back on their game, we're out for world domination, all three chords at a time! We used two of 'em (Dm--so sad, and G) to garner an editor's pick from MP3.WashingtonPost.com for our song "Neverlasting" -- but we're saving that Asus4maj7add9 for something really special.
You may have caught us at some cool places around town, including the Velvet Lounge, Backstreets, Luna Park Grille, Politiki, Purgatory, Zigs, Rockville Town Center, Rhodeside Grill, and the Laughing Lizard Lounge. We've had the privilege of sharing the stage with fun folks like The Organ (Vancouver, B.C.) and local faves Fisftul of Fifties, Hello Society, dont panic, Fever, Devilfood, and Half Fast, while helping out good causes like the Red Cross (Hurricane Katrina and Tsunami relief) and St. Judes Hospital.
