Chapter Music is an independent record label that began in Perth, Western Australia in June 1992, after a few issues of a fanzine called Chapter 24 that started in October 1990.
First a small-run cassette label documenting the Perth underground, Chapter slowly grew into a continent- and decade-spanning enterprise that takes in Australian archival post-punk, Japanese psychedelia and American avant-garde folk music, as well as continuing to document new Australian music.
