About me:
Chara Christian Dance Academy serves families in the Friendswood and surrounding area by providing quality classical and contemporary dance instruction in an uplifting, Christian environment. Our goal is to enhance each student’s self-esteem, confidence and character as well as develop friendships between students, families and staff. Above all, we exist to worship the Lord Jesus Christ, who created us and gives us the gift of
movement and self expression to use for His glory.
What Makes Us Unique?
Christian music is used throughout all of our classes, competition
music and recitals.
Our class sizes are limited to ensure adequate personal attention for
each student. Preschool and Primary classes are limited to 8 students
and our 6 years and older classes are limited to 12 students. Classes
close to their maximum enrollment are also staffed with an assistant
instructor.
We choose costumes that are age appropriate, modest and fun.
We strive to be a studio with a fun, relaxed atmosphere while still being
serious about discipline and proper technique at the same time.
Each class begins with prayer, keeping the focus of our time on the
Lord.
We use the Sonshine Christian Ballet Syllabus, based on the RAD
and Cecchetti methods, bringing professionalism and measurability of
progress to each ballet class.
Communication is key at our studio! We are persistent in our efforts to
make sure you feel fully informed and that great costumer service is
always available. All e-mails and phone calls are responded to promptly.
