UPDATE 03.09.80 (1ST YEAR ANNIVERSARY)

It’s the 7th week into the trial… So far we've hearing the initial interviews of all defendants when they were first arrested. Two of the brothers (Steven and John) have been cross examined on the stand.
Thomas Ireton (aged20years) has since been acquitted. This means he has been let go, set free, to go about his business. Sounds mad but I’m actually okay about it. Once I started to get an idea of what actually happened it was clear that this young boy (black boy) had nothing to do with my fathers death. He was just simply offered a lift home and got caught in something terrible.. So.. he’s gone…
Paul Hudson and Jermaine Morris’s defense had also put in a submission application but they were denied. Although it looks like they too didn’t have anything to do with the murder, they went up to (or maybe into) the house so they still have a case to defend. They remain on trial.
The 3 brothers left on trial (excluding Declan Fitzgerald who pleaded guilty) are John Fitzgerald, Steven Fitzgerald and Alan Ellis. I know in my heart which two are definitely guilty…I know which one held the knife that killed my Dad. But I’ll wait till the verdict to air it out. These guys already had bad violent reputations…they inflicted mad violence on each other!
This was a revenge attack. Alan Ellis was attacked that morning by 3 ‘boys’, none of them shorter than 6ft. What I don’t understand is if Alan knew who his attackers where (boys), he must have seen my Dad (only 5ft6 and a 44 year old GROWN MAN) and realised that he wasn’t a ‘boy’ and should have left him alone. They killed the wrong man!
3rd September is one year since that day….. I will be going back to the place my Dad took his last breath; with candles, prayers and songs….feel free to pass through….. 123 Paulet Road, Camberwell, SW9 9HW from 6pm

It’s the 4th week of the trial. It has been so tiring especially listening to so many different accounts of what happened on the 3rd September 08, the day my Dad was murdered. All six of them have a different story!
We have heard evidence from witnesses who were in the area that day. The pathologist has given his account of the injuries my Dad received. Too much information, quite hard to take it in! So we know that there were two or more knives involved in the attack. He was stabbed at least 19 times! The fatal wound was in his back, it entered his lung which caused it to collapse and cause hemorrhage and shock. He had numerous stab wounds to his arms, which indicates he was trying to defend himself. And was also stabbed in the face through the mouth!!!
We are still in the process of going through the defendants interviews. They haven’t been put up on the stand yet….I can’t wait to see them sweat up there! Judgment day will most likely be 12th September. That’s all I can tell you at the moment. Some are looking less guilty than others; some are trying to pin the blame on the other so it’s all about cross examining them.

I went to the Old Bailey court on Friday 11th January with my family for the hearing which was previously postponed. All 7 men pleaded 'NOT GUILTY'...... yeh I know.... I can already feel the lies that are about to come out of these 'animals' mouths. The trial date has been set to the 14th July. It will probably go on forever but that's fine by me. As long as justice is served and they get what they deserve. "Dad we WILL get justice for you...I miss you."
BUT THE LORD ALMIGHTY WILL BE EXHALTED BY HIS JUSTICE, AND THE HOLY GOD WILL SHOW HIMSELF HOLY BY HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS (ISIAH 5:16)

My Dad, Julian Warrington, was stabbed to death in his home Monday 3rd September 2007 about 2:20pm. He was living on Paulet Road in Camberwell, London with my aunt Christine at the time. My Dad was on his day off from work in the lounge on his computer. 5 white men and 1 black man kicked thier way through two doors to get into his house after trying a few other houses. They attacked him, stabbed him many times and left him to die.
Neighbours discovered him almost immediately and emergency services were called. Despite the efforts of the Ambulance Service conducting open-heart surgery they were unable to save my Dads life.

Three brothers, Steven Fitzgerald, 25, of Mapleton Close in Bromley, Declan Fitzgerald, 22, and John Fitzgerald, 27, from Dora Way, Brixton, have since been charged with murder. Alan Ellis, 18, from Paulet Road, Camberwell, south London; Paul Hudson, 22, of Gibson Road, Lambeth, south London and Jermaine Morris, 25, from Gypsy Road, West Norwood, are also charged with my Dads murder. They are all remanded in custody until the trail date 14th Dec 2007. A 7th suspect was arrested and had been released on bail until the trial.

My Dad was only 43 and a great man, he was a 9-5er who worked so much overtime to make me and my 3 little sisters (13yrs, 11yrs & 7months) happy. He was so lively always telling jokes and always tried to be the young 'cool' Dad. If you knew him, you could only have something nice to say about him. Some of the media have made it sound like he could be involved in something. I promise you he wasn't...he was a family man. He wouldnt be involved in any type of gang, or crime related activity to have any enemies. He wasnt ready to die.
