Singer / Songwriter / Producer – Extraordinary is the only word to describe this talented young lady. Chardanai has had a musical passion from an early age. Experimenting with instruments and genres over the years she finally made the transition to Soca. Her 1st track, which she produced, featured Soca Johnny and showed the world what she had to offer. The track was exciting and received a lot of support. The next track, which got people talking about Chardanai, was Soca Feeling and to this day the track continues to receive immense support. It was this track that made the industry sit back and watch what she would come with next.
Chardanai has used her knowledge and experience to continuously perfect her craft and created a further buzz with her 2008 tracks. All the tracks, except Put It On Me, are produced by her showcasing her versatility. Always buzzing with ideas she decided to feature her father on the track, Hush Ya Mouth, which fuses Soca & Zouk. This track went down a storm and is the 1st Soca track to feature Yoruba lyrics. Martin Jay from Choice FM showed nothing but love and support for this track and with this Hush Ya Mouth will be given an official 2009 release.
November 2008 saw Chardanai nominated for Best UK Female Soca Artist at the UK Soca Music Awards and recieve the award for the BEST UK SOCA ARTIST 2008 at the CALABASH AWARDS, thus pushing her further into the public eye. Whilst 2009’s agenda is scheduled with various projects throughout, Chardanai continues to fulfill a prosperous musical venture.
