My favorite physical activity is: Biking along the Potamac on the Virginia side to Uncle George and Aunt Martha's house.
Music
These songs would be on the soundtrack of my life? A Love Supreme and Once I loved.
I love creatively composed and performed music. So called "Jazz" and Brazillian acoustic are my favorites.
Movies
I'm a film buff. "To Kill A Mockingbird" and "The Women" are my all time classic favorites. There are just too many more to name here. Blade Runner and the Matrix are modern classics. The Vertical Ray of the Sun and Happy Accidents are examples of execellent cinematography and quirky story tellings respectively. The list is exhuastible. I was impressed with Traffic and Syriana, Sin City, Lost in Translation, The Swimming Pool, Whale Rider, Loving Jezebel, Sober, Out of Season, In the Mood for Love, Malena, Crouching Tiger, Flying Dragons....? I look to experience something different as well as simply zoning out for a few hours. Balance is essential. I am equally fascinated by the ideal of following a director's body of work. John Sayles, Hal Hartley, Zhang Yimou, Wim Wenders, Spike Lee, John Singleton, Gillian Armstrong are just a few film makers that come to mind. Hey, save me a seat in the middle orchestra, 7-10 rows from the screen. PS My nephew appears, albeit a few scenes in "The Great Debaters."
Television
Not much of a TV person per se, but I love watching the Netflix compilations of "24", "Alias", "Taken", "The 4400", "Smallville" and "Dark Angel" "Lost" and "The Closer". I love that "Heroes" is/was available on NetFlix in the Instant Watch catergory.

Books
Currently reading Ursula Hegi's "Intrusions." Completed "The Last of Her Kind," {Sigrid Nunez}-Great Book!! "Ten Poems To Change Your Life,"(Commentary by Roger Housden) is an ongoing reference; "Sophie's World," by Fostein Gaarder., a beautiful reintroduction to philosophy weaved cleverly into a witty narrative. "The Other Holywood" is on hold for a while. Recently finished Karen Armstrong's "The History of God;" Don Miquel Ruiz's "The Four Agreements;" J.Krishnamurti's "The Awakening of Intelligence;" a friend's novella, "The Insanity Factor;" "A Race is a Nice Thing to Have;" and John Grisham's "The Partner." Local library $1.00 bin:"Peace Pilgrim" and "The Dogs of Babel," by Carolyn Parkhurst. And there are much two many start and stop ones to list here. Aren't books the best!
Heroes
I don't have any heroes. I have the upmost respect for compassion and tolerance. We may strive to always do our best.

About me: I edited my profile at www.hostdrjack.com
I'm tired of talking and/or writing about myself. There, I've said too much already.
I am meeting and listening to the silence between my thoughts.
Good Morning Charles, I am going to the Fusion Festival from wednesday till monday. It..s the party of the year over 80.000 people will come there together from all ovber the world to celebrate music, theatre, arts, lyrics everything its sooo beautiful... I hope you are doing well. Lots of love
My lovely charles...how are you? I learned a lot about myself this time... about who I don..t want to be...and the beauty inside of me.... its the biggest gift... handle with care! I love you sooo much
It's summer here my dear. How are you? Long time no hear and since I'm an optimist, I choose to believe that you are having so much fun, and so much life, that all is well. I'm off to pick some vegetables for lunch. Life is good here. love to you my friend! Cindy
I have wrapped the wide world in my wider self And Time and Space my spirit's seeing are. I am the god and demon, ghost and elf, I am the wind's speed and the blazing star.
All Nature is the nursling of my care, I am its struggle and the eternal rest; The world's joy thrilling runs through me, I bear The sorrow of millions in my lonely breast.
I have learned a close identity with all, Yet am by nothing bound that I become; Carrying in me the universe's call I mount to my imperishable home.
I pass beyond Time and life on measureless wings, Yet still am one with born and unborn things.

Don't you just love the last line? And how are you my friend? xox Cindy
Text: How much more of myself can I give. Before I break. How many times must I love you, Before I get it right. How many times was I born a slave, To a system that kills people everyday. How many times do I see, That this life is full of misery. I used to believe that everyone cared. I thought I understood the Things of this world, and now I know nothing. I keep losing myself and things only to find I have nothing left behind. Except that I wish to convey. How much I love you all everyday.
I'm pretty happy but emotionally drained after talking to cousins I haven't seen in over twenty five years over facebook. It's like a part of my heart that's been missing and just got reinstalled.
You are going home to your home of winter,
To your home of autumn, of spring, and of summer;
You are going home to the Land of the Living.
To the restful haven of the waveless sea.
Peace of the Seven Lights be upon you, beloved,
Peace of the Seven Joys be upon you, beloved,
Peace of the Seven Loves be upon you, beloved,
On the breast of the Mother of Blessings,
In the arms of the Father of Life.
May God fill this glorious time of resurrection and new life throughout all nature with grace and peace and joy beyond all telling. Have a wonderful, memorable Easter!
ooooh sorry, that I did not get back to the question... the girl om my pic is Pia, a friend of mine. She is only 20 and moved to Hamburg 4 months ago. I am like her older sister and try to help her out whenever I can.
