Charles Antony has been writing and performing poetry for the past 12 years, producing two volumes: 'Which Way Is Heaven'-(now out of print), and 'Another Twist of Feathers' which is still available.
A member of the Poetry Society, he has performed at various arts and healing festivals across the South of England and Belfast. Having just completed working on the 'Dreams Over Water' shows, an interweaving of poetry and classical song, for Brighton Festival, he is currently involved with 'Spirit of Naeemah' cabaret shows in South London.
His poetry is said to be simple and mystical, but most of all, inspiring.
thanks for coming along on thursday Charles, sorry we didn't get to chat for long. Hopefully next time we meet we'll have a new album. I'm in the studio now watching Ben record guitar tracks x x G

After you've finished here, you may like to hear this folk-carol on myspace... Poem 230 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse (see my blog for details): CHRISTMAS SUNG SIMPLY
As gospellers have said, Beneath signalling skies, On land dusty to tread, A trough in a stable Was the strawy first-bed Of a divine baby - The forgiving Godhead.
A season for new hope - There then and here now; The yuletide of goodwill - There then and here now.
In respect of this chance, Beneath bright or dark skies, Faith's the star that we glance Attending Christ's churches And trying to enhance, With singing and ritual, Our God-loving stance.
The hours that came drifting into days then years Bring mixed blessings, comfort and fears To know that each day passing Can never be repeated but bring a sense of joy When on reflection can indeed make one coy No sense in catching the wind in a bucket Even though the task can be fun, Consider all of your achievements and say Well done, well done!
Every morning, every night, sometimes in the middle of the day... Escaping into dark, quiet corners to relieve myself Sometimes calmly, sometimes furiously... shamelessly Three times again today, is no surprise Laughing every time... seeing what I'd do to satisfy I want to take you up on all your offers... let you try Fulfill all the scintillating needs inside Heavenly wings and spitfire tongues taste like lullabies!
