In 2006 Charlesbridge produced its first major motion picture, Wiggle and Waggle. The critically acclaimed film took risks that no other animated picture had done before, delving deep below the surface of the garden to explore the struggles and joys of two earth worms, Wiggle and Waggle.
Hailed as one of the most innovative films of the 21st century, Wiggle and Waggle won awards from film festivals around the globe, and made the two unassuming stars of the movie international celebrities. Click the link below and to the right to view this seminal work for yourself.

CHUCKBRIDGE WORKER BEE OF THE MONTH!
Randi Rivers: Editorial Expert
1. If you could be any Charlesbridge character, who would you be?
I would be Chicken Little from Jeanie Ransom's book What Really Happened to Humpty? because I'm a crazy chicken (although my grandpa used to tell me I was a turkey).
2. If you could make up a holiday that would be celebrated nationally (i.e.no school or work and lots of parties) what would it honor?
Hmmm, maybe National Be Nice to Others Day. That sounds wicked cheesy, but I think we could use more "nice" in today's world.
3. If you could move the Charlesbridge offices to anywhere in the world, where would it be?
That's easy. Las Vegas, Nevada. And then I'd listen to Sinatra 24 hours a day.
Charlesbridge publishes high-quality books for children, with a goal of creating lifelong readers and lifelong learners. Our books encourage reading and discovery in the classroom, library, and home. We believe that books for children should offer accurate information, promote a positive world view, and embrace a child's innate sense of wonder and fun.
Charlesbridge is proud and excited to launch a new season of books! Whether you're a science geek, a tree-hugger, or a budding architect, Charlesbridge has a title for everyone. Learn how to draw a sphinx or identify a tree in the winter, sing along with Pat Mora's new tribute to celebration, or practice your pirate lingo and accent with Jane Yolen's book about female pirates.
