Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave, Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Depeche Mode, Rammstein, Patti Smith . . . you know, happy music. I also like ABBA. Seriously.
Movies
Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings, The Thing, Escape From New York, Friday the 13th, Alien, The Matrix, The Dark Crystal, The Silence of the Lambs, Apocalypse Now, plus stuff by David Lynch, David Cronenberg, Darren Aronofsky, Quentin Tarantino, Werner Herzog, Alejandro Jodorowsky. This is so stereotypically film student it makes me want to puke.
Television
Carnivale, LOST, Twin Peaks, St. Elsewhere, The X Files, Millennium, King of the Hill, Homicide: Life on the Street, Cheers, Futurama, and of course The Golden Girls
Books
The Stand, The Dark Tower, Geek Love, And the Ass Saw the Angel, Diary of a Drug Fiend, Please Kill Me, The Bible (which is really an amazing science fiction story about aliens, if you think about it), The Lord of the Rings, books by Hubert Selby Jr., William S. Burroughs, Philip K. Dick, Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk (missed his last few, though . . . the hipsters can stone me later)
Heroes
Haven't seen it yet. Haha, get it? I'm talking about the TV show! Get it? Ha. Guys?
Who I'd like to meet: Myself from the future so I can be warned. Also, new friends and collaborators but that won't happen. Also, a woman who likes me who isn't crazy, disappointed in me or otherwise emotionally compromised. Also, that won't happen either. Also, Lady Gaga.
Is there any coincidence between the fact that Lost and L-A-M-E have exactly the same number of letters in their makeup? Perhaps this bodes unwell for the conclusion of the series. A moment to ponder.
Crap. I just now realized that I bet the video I posted is the same one the chick below me was directing you to. Shame on me for not being more observant.
also HEROES is really good (for the most part). at least the first season. i still haven't downloaded any of the second season yet, but it's definitely worth watching some time.
hey man, always good to see you! thanks again for the entrance discount!!! we definitely need to hang out sometime (for more than a few minutes). btw-- were you at the TKK show a while back? that was kind of a crazy night... i can't remember.
