   About Charles Mallory
Charles Mallory is a composer, songwriter, and arranger living in Columbus, OH. He graduated from Baylor University with a B.M. in composition. He went on to work on his Master's Degree in composition at Rice University before deciding to earn a living in the financial services industry while pursuing his music interests on the side. Charles is currently a Senior Vice President working in Credit Risk Management for a large U.S. bank. He has served as music director at several churches in Houston and Dallas. He is currently focusing on composing and songwriting. During the spring of 2008, Charles scored a piece for film called "Moscow" as a demo to be submitted to the ASCAP Television & Film Scoring Workshop with Richard Bellis. Twelve selected participants will have an opportunity to record their original composition with an "A list" of Hollywood professionals, including a 40-piece orchestra of Los Angeles' finest on a major studio film scoring stage. Charles' arrangements have been performed by St. Luke's Orchestra, New York City, St. George's Episcopal Church Choir, New York City, The St. Olaf Orchestra, St. Martin's Episcopal Church Choir, Houston, Texas, and Truro Episcopal Church Choir, Fairfax, Virginia. Charles' new anthem for mixed voices, "Follow the Star" is being recorded by St. Martin's Episcopal Church Choir, George Mims, Organist and Director of Music, in the spring of 2008. The premier of Charles' new song cycle "Four Poems by Emily Dickinson" for soprano voice, cello, and piano was presented by his daughter Melissa Rukstalis at her senior voice recital at San Jose State University on April 5, 2008. Charles' published arrangements include "Alleluia No. 1," written by Donald Fishel and arranged with Betty Pulkingham and George Mims - The Hymnal 1982 (New York: The Church Hymnal Corporation, 1985), no. 178 and Songs for Celebration (New York: The Church Hymnal Corporation, 1979), no. 292. Charles also collaborated with George Mims in arranging "Allelu Yahweh," written by Betty Pulkingham - Carol Stream: Hope Publishing Company, 1979. Charles' brass and percussion arrangements may be heard on the recording "O Holy Night - Christmas at Redeemer" (Celebration Music CR 1100), December 1983 (USA). The song "My Matching Heart" was written for Charles' daughter Melissa on the occasion of her wedding in 2003. The lyrics were written by Wendy Finch McCusker. The recording was produced by Charles Mallory and Wendy Finch McCusker. Recording engineers were Phil Clark and Jeff Farner. The song was recorded at the Power Plant Multimedia Studios, Westerville, OH. Artists featured on the recording were: Lucy Smirnov, Alto, Rick Moon, Tenor, Leonid Polonsky, Violin, David Shmookler, Viola, Wendy Morton, Cello, Mark Morton, Bass, Tom Battenberg, Trumpet, Parker Wiksell, Guitar, and Charles Mallory, Keyboards and Synth Programming. © & (P) 2003 Charles Mallory and Wendy Finch McCusker. Hey thanks for the add. It's always nice to meet new friends who enjoy my music and I'm pleased you like what you've heard so far.

Now I'd like to invite you to enjoy a whole half an hour program of music on my Classic Cool Music Channel.

All you need is a good cup of coffee, a bit of quality time and your imagination to let Bellatrix weave her magic.... the treat is on me.

Hi Charles Mallory,
Just stopped by to say hello and thank you again for your friendship. I am honored by it.

I also wanted to tell you that I am casting for several musicians, vocalist, and dancers. I am producing a show for tour and need artists not only for recording but for touring as well. As you may or may not know, I am preparing for a tour this summer/ fall to five cities across the globe, and am looking for solid talent. Since you have been so kind in lending me your ear, and offering your friendship, I thought I might come to myspace before putting ads in the trades. So I came to myspace first.

PLEASE READ IN DETAIL... it may answer your questions. I am offering a flat rate for service or a percentage of profits off the sales of recorded material. That part is up to you. Rates and fees will be discussed upon approval in the first round of the selection process. If you know of someone who might be interested in this information, please pass this note on to them.

Here’s what I am looking for:
Orchestral:
Violin, Viola, Cello
Oboe, French Horn, Trumpet, Clarinet
Primary & Secondary Percussionist

Vocal:
SATB / Female & Male – Lead Capability

Dance:
Ballet, Point, Lyrical

Here is what you need to do:
E-mail me with your name and age (18+ only) and current contact information such as an e-mail address to tim@composertimoneil.com. Please forward all questions and querries to tim@composertimoneil.com. Please list three of your major accomplishments with your art; such as degrees or special performances. Make sure to include a Current Photo (JPEG or Bitmap only), MP3 (music) or WMV (video for dance or live performance) of some of your best work; something that make you stand out from the rest. Please do not send anything that lasts for more than 30 seconds and no file over 10 mb will be accepted. Make it short and sweet, and make it count. If I need any more material, I will let you know. The cutoff date for accepting mate
