A Seattle native, Charlie comes from a musical area of change. So many bands have changed the face of the genre in a number of ways over the years, making rock mean something much more than it did 20 or 30 years ago.
As a progressive composer and musician, Charlie is right at home, having been raised on bands such as Yes, Genesis, Little Feat and Pink Floyd. As a jazz composer and musician, a different side of him can be seen in the veins of Coltrane, Holdsworth, Chick Corea, Scott Henderson, and Frank Gambale. In the aspect of metal, Meshuggah, Opeth, Ayreon and Dream Theater are great examples of artists that have influenced Charlie over the years.
The resultant of fusing these styles together has created a meticulous sound which cannot be described except in aural form. After all, most music is subjective, right?
Charlie is attending Berklee pursuing (2) bachelor degrees in the area of Music Business and Performance. He is expected to graduate in August, thereafter moving to the Bay Area or Los Angeles.
You gunna be in town anytime soon? We should go hit up some local music. I know some sweet fusion groups in the area if your interested. I'm going to miss Between the Buried and Me, Dream Theater and Opeth tomorrow....I'm bummed...

It's more interesting then learning how Auxin proteins bind to AUX/IAA proteins to enable them to be destroyed so that the ARF proteins are unbound and enable a gene to be transcribed. lacist
