It is not just the influences of other musicians and music styles that has played a part in their quest to play and create music. Art, such as music, is a form of human expression... and the whole is greater than the sum of it's parts. Therefore the performance of music of anyone is influenced by their entire life. The guitarists featured on this site are all in themselves unique individuals, with their own special attributes in music artistry that they bring to the music they play. Aside from the fact that they are creators of new music... (which is one of the reasons for the art of music in the first place) composing new works, their performances of standards and cover selections is often interpreted through their own skills and styles. Therefore, there is much diversity in their sounds, which has been one reason for their success in music, and why they are considered as some of the best in their field. This site has been created to feature some of the "Solo Guiatr" artist in the "Charleston Area". Charleston has a long history of music performance and art extending back into past centuries in everything from Classical to Blues and Rock (and their early development). Today in the area there live and work some of the best musicians on all instruments, and in all styles of music... however, the guitar and its players out do all the others. Some of the finest guitarists play and teach here in Charleston SC. Therefore this MySpace page will feature some of these individuals and their work.
