In 1993 George Jones cut "The Visit," co-written with Brad Rodgers and Gene Ellsworth on "High Tech Redneck." Chad Brock took "The Visit" into the Top 20 in 2000. Lee Ann Womack had her first Number 1 in 1997, "The Fool," co-written with Marla Cannon Goodman and Gene Ellsworth. Other cuts appear on CDs by the Grammy Award nominated Grascals (The Grascals), Eddy Arnold (Seven Decades of Hits), Grammy Award winning Del McCoury Band (Del and the Boys & It's Just The Night), and Nanci Griffith (Hearts In Mind), Bobby Osborne (Where I Come From), Jerry Salley (New Songs, Old Friends), Lonesome River Band (Road With No End). "What I Wouldn't Give," co-written with Tommy Karlas and Charlie Brown appears on Blake Shelton's recent CD "Pure B.S." For 2009, "Keep On Walkin," written with Jamie Johnson, title cut of The Grascals CD. "And The Wheels Turn," title cut of the latest CD by Melonie Cannon, and two others co-written with Melonie and sister Marla. The Lonesome River Band's single, written with Brandon Rickman, "Dime Store Rings," also appears on Brandon's first solo CD, "Young Man, Old Soul." "Bad Money" written with Rickman, was released as Jeanette Williams' first single from her CD "Thank You For Caring." Recent project by Grammy Award winner Nanci Griffith, "The Loving Kind", was released on June 9, with five songs, "Up Against The Rain," "Cotton," "Not Innocent Enough," "Across America," and "Sing," co-written with Nanci and her guitarist/co-producer Thomm Jutz. Beyond this, 2009 bears a new song written with Richard Dobson, "Winners," on the celebrated Texas songwriter's just-released, twentieth album "XX."
