About me:
I'm Charlie, I'm a musician and run an indie label in London England called Invisible Hands Music. We release albums by Hugh Cornwell (ex Strangler), Thomas Dolby, Hazel O'Connor, Silver Sun, Rob Reynolds and have done one-off releases by Emerson Lake & Palmer, Wishbone Ash (actually three by them), UK Subs, Vibrators and others. I play piano / keyboards (Roland synths, Hohner clav) and drums (Ayote are my preference but it's all good), also play some guitar (main machine is a lovely cherry sunburst Fender strat, also got a wicked 76 Gibson Explorer), bass, and I sing. Working on some cool new tracks, couple of demos on a compilation called Contemporary Formation, and my song Winterpeg was on a compilation of love songs free with a national newspaper in Ireland on Valentines Day 07 which did more than half a million units - I have had worse Valentines Days. Outside music, my main interests are aviation and politics. My favourite places besides London (where I live) are Beirut (Lebanon), Toronto (Canada) and Tehran (Iran), and my favourite plane of all time is the Boeing 707 (also love the 747 Classic and the 727 - Boeing were the undisputed kings back in the classic years of the jet age). Further evidence of all this can be found in my photos. Peace Charlie xx
