Influenced by early jazzmen like Django Reinhardt, Charlie was one of the first great musicians to pick up the electric guitar. He was hired to play with the Goodman sextet in 1939. Charlie was an important developer of bebop, playing more expiremental bop as opposed to the mainstream swing that was popular at the time. Charlie continued to play until he caught pneumonia in 1942, passing at the age of 25. Please do not be offended if I do not accept your friend requests immeadietly. James 3/8-18
But the tongue no man can tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
With it we bless(praise) God, even the Father; and with it we curse men, which are made after the similitude of God.
Out of the same mouth proceeds blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.
Does a fountain send forth at the same place sweet(fresh) water and salt?
Can the fig tree, my brethren bear olive berries? or a grape vine figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.
Who is a wise man and edued with knowledge among you? Let him show out of a good conversation his works with meekness and wisdom.
But if you have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, do not glory, and do not lie against the truth.
This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle and easy to be intreated, full of merry and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
