  • Bio

Influenced by early jazzmen like Django Reinhardt, Charlie was one of the first great musicians to pick up the electric guitar. He was hired to play with the Goodman sextet in 1939. Charlie was an important developer of bebop, playing more expiremental bop as opposed to the mainstream swing that was popular at the time. Charlie continued to play until he caught pneumonia in 1942, passing at the age of 25. Please do not be offended if I do not accept your friend requests immeadietly.
