About me: Charlie Kirchoff: Comic Book Colorist
Charlie Kirchoff discovered his artistic aptitude as a child when he found that urine made an acceptable substitute for water when making sandcastles. Later, in college, he realized his talent for filling empty spaces and logically became a colorist. Charlie lives with his wife, Elbonie (a black woman who enjoys pretending to be a white man on the Internet), their pet rat, Ozymandius (who looks like a tribble with a tail), and their ferret, Grendel (who may not be too bright but heâ€,,s loved). Charlie enjoys the "clothing optional" lifestyle of being a freelancer, however his lack of social interaction has taken a serious toll on his verbal skills.
Who I'd like to meet: Buffy, but Sarah Michelle Gellar will do.
Also, anyone who is like-minded. What I mean by that is anyone who is into comic books, art, sci-fi, etc. Basically if you have things in common with the things I mention on my profile.
However, I'm sick and tired of spammers sending me a million add requests a day. "Oh, I moved my profile here because myspace won't let me post naked pics." Yeah... like I'm going to think you're real and not just trying to sell me porn. I love porn as much as the next guy, but I don't want to be spammed about it on myspace! So, in hopes to cut these down, I now require you to know my last name or email when you add me. It should be fairly obvious for real people since my last name is sprinkled all over my profile. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Charlie, I just wanted to pass along my appreciation for Doctor Who: The Forgotten #1. After being somewhat let down by "Agent Provocateur," I was hopeful that "The Forgotten"'s stronger premise would make for a better read and it certainly didn't disappoint.
Tony Lee and Pia Guerra did a stellar job and I really enjoyed your work as well, especially that you gave the First Doctor pages a classic, black-and-white feel. I hope the Second Doctor receives the same treatment in issue #2.
Oh, and the mysterious bearded figure in the black pinstripe suit? An incarnation of the Master is too predictable, so I'll go out on a limb and hope it's the War Lord from "The War Games"...
Oh luckilly no place in virginia beach. I am up here in Lansing michigan for a while doing art with MSU. I needed to pick up copic markers and am a big fan of shooping local. The only local art supply store is across town , has no parking and barely shows up for his bankers hours. I drove all the way acrossed town anyway. after parking and walking a block downtown I get to his door and he has a sign saying he is on a fishing trip from august 11 -17. I am only shopping Hobby Lobby and direct from the company now. To many local stores are to busy complaining about a lack of customer support to look at why the customers aren't coming in and or are leaving.
