The setting is Nashville - the year, 2009. Worldwide economic turmoil threatens to inject the needle into the arm of an already flat-lining record industry, hungover from the fray of its decadent past and desperately spewing sound files into a digital abyss. While the unfortunate helmsmen and women of Music Row strain to eke out a piecemeal profit in a world they have not been conditioned to understand, they overlook a universal truth: All Things End.
The corollary to this fact is that the ruins of past powers often become the primordial sludge that yields new and unforeseen life. The Modern Musician has the opportunity to experience more music, literally at our fingertips, than any preceding generation could have ever imagined. This new breed of artists is innovative, tech-savvy, and unwilling to accept the decreasing standard of quality in popular music. They make a conscious choice to pursue excellence, not the lowest common denominator.
Native son of Nashville Charlie Pate was signed to publishing and record deals upon completion of high school. He expanded his bluegrass foundation by playing guitar, mandolin, and bass with groups of various styles and textures. Currently, he is traveling the country with alt-bluegrass group Bucktown Kickback and finishing a record with hip-hop group the 365s, all the while working with his own trio Dixie’s Finest. He anticipates the release of his debut album, Charlie Pate Sings Oh, Mighty Cheops!, in the Fall of ’09. The project, made with producers Frank Liddell and Mike Wrucke, is a showcase of original tunes with the accompaniment of some of the world’s best musicians. When performing with Dixie’s Finest, audience members recognize Charlie’s youthful exuberance and joy of improvisation. Long time fans and first time listeners alike agree that they are indeed witnessing “The Finest Country Music Show in All the Land!”

CountryHome Forum have more than 5,000 members. Each news you submit to CountryHome Forum will released to my weekly Newsletter with more than 50,000 readers.
Please submit your artist news and events to CountryHome Forum to help your artists to get well known better in Europe. If you do not have the time to submit your artist news and events by yourself, please send it me to: Ch.Lamitschka@t-online.de and I will submit them by myself to CountryHome Forum.
I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.
Thanks
