Charlie Paxson was born in Philadelphia and raised in Los Angeles. He attended the Hamilton High School Academy of Music in Los Angeles and the Berklee College of music in Boston Massachusetts. Charlie has recorded or toured with James Blunt, Tina Turner, Anastacia, Rickie Lee Jones, Enrique Iglesias, Kyosuke Himuro, Colin Hay, Everlast, The Format, Elisa, Marie’ Digby, Tony Hawk, Kelly Clarkson and others. When not playing drums, sometimes Charlie sings and plays guitar and fronts his own band.
