    Charlie Wowbagger's Interests
General

I'm am into a lot, I used to have it all listed here but it was hard to keep up with so my main interests, which are also noted under my "I'd like to meet" section are again Dreams, Philosophy, Movies, Evolution, some Politics, and also the paranormal.

I spend allot of time relaxing and watching movies, I also play City of Heroes on the pc here...don't laugh its not my fault I'm a big nerd. It's society.

Music

True Fact: "Video Killed the Radio Star" was the very first video ever played on MTV.

Ok, I used to have my entire list of favorites on here but it was so obscene and I doubt anyone looked through it. I am into a lot of music but my main interest swings in the genre of 50's rock and roll. I've been called old many times because of my taste. Ill list a few of the tops i suppose, APC, Korn, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Michael Buble, Delerium, Ani Difranco and others

Movies

I like a lot of movies also, no particular genre holds precedence over another, maybe horror a little bit but not by much. I am an avid watcher of Zombie movies, and also movies based on comic Books, I. E. Xmen, Superman, Batman and Spiderman. The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Shaun of the Dead. Anything by Romero or Terantino. Then sometimes I'll move over and watch those different deep thought kind of movies like "Waking Life", "What the Bleep do we Know?", Only when i feel like questioning how the universe really works. A few of the thriller kind of movies I like are The Machinist and Hard Candy (friggin awesome flick) I also like Pauly shore movies and Dumb and Dumber....not kidding

Television The Office is my all time favorite show ever. I am also an avid fan and theorist of the tv show Lost. If you ever want to wax intellectual about Lost, send a message my way(same goes for Heroes). My name is Earl, WWE Raw and Smackdown and ECW (but not nearly as much as I used to watch them), Monk, Psyche, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Family Guy, Yes Dear(i think I'm the only person who likes it) and That 70's Show --Topher Grace rocks!-- Mindfreak w. Criss Angel, Medium, Four Kings, now that its canceled. I've also started to watch the Black Donnelly's(which is now also canceled).

Shows I cant stand are the CSI's, According to Jim, The War at Home, and Everybody Hates Chris.

Books

Pro wrestler autobiographies, I'd like to read a bit more HG Wells, I've read none in total.

Other terrific books are "Fight Club" by Chuck Palahniuk, the book the movie was based on. The book is really nihilistic and can really get your worked up. Its good but I prefer the film.

"The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" by mark Haddon a story written in the perspective of a young autistic boy trying to solve the murder of his neighbors dog. Excellent read.

"Cell" by Stephen King. The world comes crashing down after a Pulse gets received by every cellphone and drives the people who hear it insane, turning them into zombies. Did I mention Zombies brought to you by Stephen King!

"Blink: The Power of Thinking without Thinking" By Malcolm Gladwell. It's about how our brain can make split decisions about something and its right more often than the decisions we've made after lots of debate, and how it can be used for or against us. hard to explain I guess.

"The Zombie Survival Guide" and "World War Z" by Max Brooks. An awesom set of books, the Former, Obviously its a How-To book focused on surviving a zombie outbreak, and the Latter is a group of interviews with survivors of a Zombie War that nearly killed all life on this planet. If you like zombies these two are needed to star/complete a collection.

"The Ultimate Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" by Douglas Adams. Oh man, where do I even begin. I saw the movie and fell in love with it, then I got the book and it wasn't just the first, but all six books from the series, took months to read but wow. Totally worth it, I just started reading it over. I also listen to the audio books as im falling asleep.

Heroes Mick Foley, Hayabusa, Vince McMahon, George Romero, Mr Terrantino, and Johnny Cash. Also like movie and music theres so many people to list off as heroes, none really out rate the others. I appreciate everyone for what they bring to my part of this world.

About me:

Hi. I'm Chuck. I am a weird sort of fellow I suppose. I run the Electronics Department at Shopko. I love photography. I really enjoy movies and talking about them in great length. I have A Mother, Father, Brother and Sister, all of them are older than myself. I am obsessed with the Number 42. I tend to like things when they are not around i.e snow, rain, heat, relatives. But I grow tired of them fast when they are around. I try to see something new, or from a new angle everyday. I do my best to stress as little as possible. I have motivation issues. I love technology. I own around 9 different Rubik's Cubes. I say the best breakfast sandwich out there is the new Hardees Loaded Omelet Biscuit. I will be a professional wrestler some day, If I can't do that, i will run a federation instead. I am an avid practitioner of Lucid Dreaming and Dream analysis. That is all for now.

I have my add request set to needing to know my last name and/or my e-mail. So if you want to add me, send me a message and we shall see what happens. Its not because I'm a jerk, I just get way too many spam bots wanting to be my friend. I don't make friends with robots, for if I was their friend I would be too emotionally attached to fight back when they rise up to conquer man.

Who I'd like to meet:

Hmmm well on the non-celebrity side I think I'd just like to meet as many different people as possible. I know its a corny response but still, tis true. Id really like to meet people who can carry on deep conversations, things of interest there are Dreams, philosophy(im a beginner so go easy) evolution, mild politics and movies. Also, anyone I went to school with or remembers me from years gone by i.e Worked together, neighbors, etc. No matter how inane the connection is, send me a message, chances are I will remember.

On the celebrity side of people I want to meet is Mick Foley, Alyson Hannigan, Simon Pegg, the cast of The Office (and propose to Jenna Fischer), George A. Romero, Quentin Terrantino, Matt and Jeff Hardy, Mick Foley, Mark Calloway (the Undertaker) Uma Thurman, Richard Linklater. And on the deceased side I'd have to say Johnny Cash, Frank Sinatra, Owen Hart, Eddie Guererro, Douglas Adams. Also anyone who thinks asthma is fake, so I can strangle em.

My favorite quote from Waking Life about Dreaming and dreamers

I haven't seen too many around lately. Things have been tough lately for dreamers. They say dreaming is dead, no one does it anymore. It's not dead it's just that it's been forgotten, removed from our language. Nobody teaches it so nobody knows it exists. The dreamer is banished to obscurity. Well, I'm trying to change all that, and I hope you are too. By dreaming, every day. Dreaming with our hands and dreaming with our minds. Our planet is facing the greatest problems it's ever faced, ever. So whatever you do, don't be bored, this is absolutely the most exciting time we could have possibly hoped to be alive. And things are just starting..

All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, to make it possible. - - - - T. E. Lawrence
