Well..Uh.. among other things I'm a bass player, a vocalist, writer, record producer in the business over three decades, or has it been four? My music has been released on Columbia Records, Atlantic Records in L.A., Malaco Records Jackson, Miss.- Capricorn Records Macon, GA, Polydor, Fantasy, Laurie Records in New York, Phoenix Records in Europe, independent Souzaphone Records, a new release in 2008, Atlantic Records' melodic metal group FORTRESS, "Hands in the Till" on Wounded Bird Records and in 2009 the NEW RASCALS "Reloaded" LIVE CD & DVD and am currently touring with the NEW RASCALS along with Bill Pascali of the Vanilla Fudge and featuring Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Dino Danelli and Gene Cornish.

Tom Petty, Mudcrutch, Greg Allman, Cactus, White Witch, Bill Champlin of Chicago, Joe Walsh's pianist Rocke Grace, Jim Horn, Gale Force with producer Wayne Henderson of Jazz Crusaders, Fortress on Atlantic Records, The Fred Willard Band, Native American actor Floyd "Red Crow" Westerman, Santana keyboardist Leon Patillo, Duane Hitchings and the Darrell Mansfield Christian Band.
In the new millennium, teamed up with former Robin Trower & Sly & The Family Stone drummer Bill Lordan, with saxophonist Adrian Tapia of Boz Scaggs and Eric Turner of Fortress and The Tropics on “Live Your Dream” and "9 Ball in the Corner Pocket!"
These two CD albums were recorded in Studio City, Anaheim and Hollywood, California.
After moving from L.A. back home to the beach in Florida in 2002, my new band has performed on concerts thoughout the state and The New Tropics have finally finished recording a new CD album in 2007 "Livin in Paradise" using Tampa Bay area recording studios including Big 3 Studios Saint Petersburg and MCR Studios Tampa. I also have been added to the honor roll list of nominees to the Florida Music Hall of Fame and am currently preparing for a Legends of Rock Show tour in 2009. More info at CharlieSouza.com
