| General | Writing, reading, allowing the dogs to walk me, painting, canal boating and DIY. Oh, and I'd quite like to learn to fly. Unfortunately, I get lost even with sat nav. | | Music | Yes, I'm too old to be a punk princess but thanks to my son's constant background music: Avril Lavinge. I can't get enough of Robbie Williams either (cos he's a bad boy with a nice bod!). Sandi Thom I could listen to all day. Sheryl Crow and Shania Twain I adore. Travis also, whose The Boy With No Name is wonderful. And when I'm done being hyper, I chill out with classic or Royskopp, which makes me cry. Oh and UB40 of course, whose class I had the questionable honour of being in with a Moseley Rd Art Shcool in the UK! Woo! | | Movies | Anything and everything with Julia Roberts in. Anything and everything with George Clooney in ... pant, pant. Could somebody please tell him he's saved himself long enough and he can come and get me now ... do anything he likes with me, actually! Seriously, Three Kings was my favorite GC film. And who could resist Tom Hanks in Sleepless in Seattle or You've Got Mail? Groundhog Day is one of my all times faves and I absolutely love animated films: Over the Hedge, Chicken Run, Shrek of course (the latest being a must watch as it has excerpts based in my hometown of Worcestershire!). | | Television | 24 - view it on dvd avidly. Scrubs makes me scream. Can't beat a good drama and films are my friend whether I'm happy or sad | | Books | Just read "diary of a married call girl" - Tracy Quan

About me:
In the words of Nancy Friday: To say something nice about themselves, this is the hardest thing in the world for people to do. They'd rather take their clothes off.
Okay, so ... I'm not taking my clothes off - and I don't have to say anything nice about myself either, because hey, guess what, I found some really nice friends at The Wild Rose Press who said some nice things about me, and now I feel GREAT!
A bit about me proper: I'm a mum. I have a son who tells me his mates think I'm cool. This is usually before I turn up his trousers or he takes my car! Nah, he's cool, he knows it. And my best mate!
I have a relationship.
I am an animal lover. Actually, I think I'm one of those sad souls who would lay down her life for her dogs. In my defence, they're all rescues. One is an o.a.p cross collie, one a Jack Russell who's been kicked and blinded, bless his socks, and one who had cancer, bless her three socks. Yes, only three, poor girl!
Achievements in life? Hmm? Well, I've sky dived (in tandem with a very nice man!), abseiled down a cliff, tackled my fear of SPIDERS ... Yesss!!! ... but, my biggest achievement by far, apart from my son, is being taken under the comforting wing of THE WILD ROSE PRESS. My contemporary romantic comedy THE MADNESS OF CELIA SUMMERS is now out in digital. PRINT release date March 28. And...I have a second contract! Yesss, yessity, YESSSS! Naked Fully Clothed, my second rom com will be coming soon to THE WILD ROSE PRESS. Check them out at www.thewildrosepress.com. If you're a die-hard romantic you'll love the WRP reads.
