Branded by my upbringing, i was blessed with many opportunities. Built by my friends, and supported by lovers I was woven into the woman I hardly know today. The person I am merely reminds me of every person I've ever loved, learned from, or been healed by. My actions remain reminders of my memories, and continue to build upon themselves like thickening branches of an aging oak tree. I remind myself of my roots, as often as I can so I don't forget I need them to lean on, and If i try, to heave myself from the earth, it will be cost me my relationships to the soil. I believe that art is a reflection of culture, friends are a reflection of you, and you are a reflection of me. I believe that the great distraction is none other than your bathroom mirror. Subsituting it's cold friendship and perspective in the place of your friends. The largest mirror, in my opinion is the media, and like any tool, held improperly it can cause more damage than good. I hope one day that our communities will be sustainable, and that I will one day know and provide for my neighbors. My greatest fault is a lack of appreciation for what is available to me, so in return I listen carefully that I may not misuse the responsisbly that comes with power and opportunity.
Life is such a strange thing, and then some nut who should wearing a tinfoil hat comes along and tells you that wealthy businessmen created all of the society we currently survey, and then when the cool air conditioning hits your face as you sit in a soft reclining chair having just returned from a drive to the Mega-Ultra-Super-Mart to buy cheap Toilet Paper, the person who should be wearing a tinfoil hat (and probably does in private) explains that these wealthy businessmen who created the whole of society we currently survey... are a threat? Hmph. Is it possible that they came to the conclusion that the rest of humanity is just lazy, worthless, and incapable, and are therefore generally expendable if they get in the way of global progess and developement? This is what comes to mind when I hear about conspiracy theories... and for some reason... I felt you should know that... probably because it is 7a.m., among other factors.

Hey! Yeah The Good Body is an awesome book! The woman who wrote the Vagina Monologues, you may have heard of it? also wrote that. It's a short, sweet read. Kinda puts you in the skin of one uncomfortable woman after the next, instills a certain amount of camaraderie. pick it up! You'll enjoy it.. Hope Athens is going well, er ok enough. Akron's gross and boring and depressing- but it's SUMMER (i must remind myself) so I'm tryin to make the most of it. See ya soon maybe..
