    L’idea di dare vita a questo progetto ha origine nell’Aprile del 2009, su idea del bassista Paolo Cimarelli che, spargendo annunci un po' ovunque, propone di fondare una tribute band del suo gruppo preferito, gli Iron Maiden. Il primo a rispondere � Stefano Reali, chitarrista di Torvajanica che condivide con Paolo la passione per gli Iron Maiden. Mentre Stefano e Paolo sono alla ricerca di un cantante, risponde ad un annuncio Fabio Insolia, che diventer� subito il primo frontman del gruppo. Contemporaneamente, Paolo entra in contatto con un batterista di Anzio, Andrea Fiocchi, anche lui appassionato degli Iron Maiden. Il gruppo, cos� parzialmente formato, inizia la sua attivit� raggiungendo subito buoni risultati, nonostante possa giovare di una sola chitarra; il grande affiatamento che si manifesta subito tra i componenti sopperisce, per il momento, a questa mancanza. Massimiliano Fiaschetti, alias Max, entra nel gruppo poco tempo dopo come secondo chitarrista. Ora il gruppo � completo. L’idea di aggiungere una terza chitarra si concretizza grazie all’ingresso di Piermario Albanese, in grado di sfoggiare un’ottima tecnica sin dagli inizi. Nel mese di Giugno la band si esibisce per la prima volta in concerto in un locale del litorale laziale, “La Lucciola”: la scaletta comprende appena sei pezzi, ma per essere un esordio il risultato � incoraggiante. Un mese dopo arriva una brutta notizia: Max e Fabio abbandonano la band per motivi personali, lasciando i Charlotte’s Place orfani di una chitarra e soprattutto della voce solista. La band si mette nuovamente alla ricerca di un cantante: nel Settembre del 2009 risponde all’annuncio Daniele Falcioni, che gi� nel corso della prima prova viene integrato come membro fisso della formazione. Forti della nuova line-up, il 27 Marzo 2010 i Charlotte's Place tornano a “La Lucciola” di Torvajanica per una nuova esibizione. Il concerto vede finalmente una scaletta pi� nutrita, durante la quale vengono eseguiti classici degli Iron Maiden come Aces High, Fear Of The Dark, Wasted Years e Hallowed Be Thy Name. Il successo va oltre ogni aspettativa, tanto che la band decide di finalmente di compiere il salto di qualit�. Durante il mese di Maggio 2010 Daniele, Piermario, Stefano, Paolo e Andrea entrano in studio per registrare il primo Promo CD della band che comprende le loro personali interpretazioni di capolavori come The Trooper, Flight Of Icarus e Powerslave. Al momento attuale, i Charlotte’s Place stanno completando il loro repertorio che conterr� molti dei successi del periodo classico della grandissima Vergine di Ferro. Charlotte's Place, the band's name referring to Charlotte the Harlot's workplace, has its roots in the homonym song and in other tracks like 22 Acacia Avenue, Hooks In You and From Here To Eternity. The project was brought about in April 2009 from an idea of bass guitarist Paolo Cimarelli, who spread ads all around the web so as to form a tribute band of his favourite artists: Iron Maiden. Stefano Reali, a guitarist from Torvajanica, was the very first one to join. He shares with Paolo the Iron Maiden's passion. While Stefano and Paolo were looking for a singer, Fabio Insolia through the ad, became immediately the band's first frontman. After a short while, Paolo got in touch with a drummer from Anzio, Andrea Fiocchi, a big Iron Maiden fan as well. The band, not compeletely formed, immediately started to play with good results, despite a single guitarist. However, the great harmony between the band members compensated the lack of the second guitar. Massimiliano Fiaschetti, aka Max, joined the band a few weeks after, as second guitar. The band line-up was then finally completed. The idea of a third guitar came up when Piermario Albanese answered to another ad and joined the band, making quite an impression for his technical talent. In June 2009, Charlotte's Place performed its first gig in a live music club just outside Rome called “La Lucciola”. The band performed six songs only, but as its debut the result was indeed promising. A month after this, two bad news stroke the band: Max and Fabio had to quit for personal reasons, leaving the band without one guitar and the frontman in particular. Charlotte's Place started over its search for a new singer. In September 2009, Daniele Falcioni was recruited through the ad and officially joined the band right after the first rehearsal. With the new line-up, on March 27th 2010 Charlotte's Place returned to “La Lucciola” in Torvajanica for a new gig. With more classic tracks to be played, like Aces High, Fear Of The Dark, Wasted Years and Hallowed Be Thy Name, the band achieved a great success beyond all expectations. It was time to take things up seriously. In May 2010, Daniele, Piermario, Stefano, Paolo and Andrea began recording their first Promo CD, including Charlotte's Place version of three Iron Maiden's masterpieces: The Trooper, Flight Of Icarus and Powerslave. At the moment, the band is completing its repertoire that will include most of the greatest Iron Maiden's classics.
