General
My interests are music and books...the order of which depends on my mood.
I love to scrapbook and I also am an avid fan of the Rocky Horror Picture Show...which I see with a live cast way too often. Check them out at myspace.com/sinsotheflesh
Music
I'm really into rock music...mostly 70's and 80's stuff but also a big fan of early 90's grunge everything from Pink Floyd and Zepplin to Nirvana and Pearl Jam...a few modern bands catch my interest, but not many.
Concerts I've been to: AC/DC, Kiss, Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, Motley Crue, Scorpions, Styx and REO Speedwagon, Deep Purple, Dio, Aerosmith, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Doors, Bon Jovi, Rob Zombie, Warrant, Wierd Al, Steel Train, The Faint. Ozzfest 2003: Disturbed, Marilyn Manson, Korn, Ozzy, Cradle of Filth, Voivod, Black Label Society. Ozzfest 2004: Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Slayer.

Last year I had to make a list of my twelve favorite books from my English major classes...These ones made the top of my list:
Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment,
Beowulf,
Shelley's Frankenstein,
Sophocles' Oedipus Tyrannus,
Henry James' A Turn of the Screw,
Goethe's Faust. Of course being an English major, there are plenty more.

I am.....a true optimist, a hard worker, one who likes to achieve, a bit crazy, a book worm, a night owl, a people person, a cat lover, a gemini, a poet, goal oriented...I love life, kitty cat stuffed animals and books that there never seems to be enough time to read. I recieved my BA from Cal. State Bakersfield in December '05 and just finished my teaching credential. This is my second year teaching High School English. It was a bit more of a challenge than I thought it would be, but I love it nonetheless!
