HISTORY : CHARRUA , thrash death metal band from Montevideo, Uruguay.The band’s story started a long time ago when Pablo Magallanes(founder/ guitarist ex-Senda Negra and Requiem Aeternum ) inspired from several thrashmetal and death metal genres decided to quit his previous bands to set up a new artistic project that would be known as CHARRUA later on.Marcello "TANO" Borzacconi on Drums with Bassist Luis ”El PERUANO” D.Angelo (ex-Chopper and Alto Voltaje) and Adrian "EL INDIO"Lema (vocals)joined the guitarist to complete the first line up in 1999. They played together almost 4 years and recorded the first demo "Abre tu Mente" and in the year 2002 the second one EP "CHARRUA". Later after several line-up changes , various auditions and sharing the ideas with friends the current line-up came forward.2006 Charrua announced as new members the drummer Alvaro ,Gaston (vocals) and Jeison (guitar).Early 2007 the new lineup was completed by Maximiliano Caballero on bass. Together they create their vision of the future of extreme metal from Uruguay. A symbiosis of death, thrash and black metal merged with progressive elements and technical as well as compositional demand.The band completed their third Demo "BLOODY VISIONS OF LIFE."
