Well...we think it sounds like glory in your ears. But... if we have to compare, we have a very driving, early 90s rock sensibility. We are similar to but not defined as bands such as Third Eye Blind, Coldplay, The Counting Crows, and Better than Ezra.
In the sleepy college town of Newark, DE, ChaseHer emerged from the ashes of a solo project helmed by singer/songwriter Cary McCartin. After touring colleges in the Northeast, McCartin teamed up with an old high school friend, guitarist Mike Bleinberger, and friend, drummer Andrew Kerstetter, to add more depth and sonic force to his soulful acoustic ballads. Their music fused the pop sensibility of Counting Crows and Maroon 5 with the understated emotion of Graham Colton. This unique combination instantly struck a chord with college students throughout the area, allowing the band to play shows to filled venues on word of mouth alone. Soon drummer Andrew Kerstetter pushed to complete the group with long-time school mates, guitarist Henry Supinski and bassist, Burke Quinn, giving the band a more textured, driving sound. With the full lineup in place, the band pushed forward, honing their live act across Delaware and Pennsylvania while writing new material which will form the basis of their first full length album.
