Chaser are a jazz-infused party duo whose multi-instrumentalist members Ian and Paul perform wonderful covers of well-known pop, rock and chart hits in the accomplished jazz style for which the band is so well-loved. They take their influences from a range of the most gifted songwriters from the 60s (such as The Beatles and James Taylor), through to the contemporary talent behind the best of today's chart hits, including 'Valerie' and The Killers' 'Human'. This has enabled them to develop a fantastic repertoire that includes something for every audience. The Chaser live shows are loaded with charisma and charm, working with every audience to create an electric atmosphere for a night to remember! They are a highly versatile act, equally adept at providing wonderful background music for events such as dinners and receptions and stepping up the performance later for a night of dancing. Ian and Paul are both professional performers with a wealth of touring and live experience behind them. They have toured stage shows for comedy acts such as Bernard Manning, Tom Pepper and Ken Dodd and provided support for various top bands. Chaser either play a fully live acoustic set or include drum and keyboard backing to generate the live sound of a four- or five-piece band. Either way, they are thoroughly entertaining and never fail to appeal to their audience.
