I'm Chase, I'm 22, and have played drums since I was 14. I took lessons for about 2 and a half years from a great instructor named Merril. The most recent band I played for was End The Century, which I started with Jonathan Gaytan. After a 2 year run with them, and after releasing 2 CD's, I decided it was time to move on and pursue drumming independently. A few years prior, I used to play drums in a band called Adelade, who broke up in May of 2006. My first band was called Between The Lies, & we were together for about 6 months. End The Century is still continuing on and their CD's are still available on iTunes and elsewhere. The YouTube videos started back in September of 2006, kind of randomly. When Saosin posted "Shh" [aka Follow & Feel] on their myspace page, I learned it, and thought it would interesting to see what would happen if I recorded myself playing, and posted it on YouTube. Well, a 2 years later, and 2 dozen more videos, I have accumulated over 4.1 million plays, and for that, I am thoroughly appreciative.
