Chasing The Monsoon is a new and exciting collaborative project featuring powerful rhythmic elements, haunting vocals, shimmering ambient soundscapes and incorporating rock/celtic/world music influences.
Introducing:
Ian Jones - plays bass, various guitars but can often be found dabbling with keys and samples! He is also founder member, creative force and guiding light of British progressive/celtic rock band Karnataka with whom he also plays bass, acoustic guitar, keys.
Karnataka (also featuring Lisa Fury) have released four albums and two dvds to date and are currently working on a new studio album The Gathering Light.

Steve Evans - producer/engineer/keyboards/vocals - has worked with many artists in a distinguished career. Steve produced Karnataka's last studio album Delicate Flame Of Desire. On this new project Steve's compositional and 'soundscaping' skills come to the fore helping to forge the unique sound of chasing the monsoon.
