La música ha sido la mayor pasión de Nick & Danny Chatelain durante toda su vida y siempre han sentido la necesidad de compartir este sentimiento con todos sus seguidores.  Nick & Danny tuvieron su primer encuentro con la música con tan solo 8 y 6 años respectivamente  a consecuencia de ser su padre uno de los primeros DJ..s que deslumbró en Ibiza a final de los 60 (Club Nito's).

Nick & Danny llamaron la atención del legendario sello discográfico Ovum Recordings, creando así  su propio y distinguido estilo del sonido en la pista de baile. La gran presentación de N&D al mundo la marcó su gran hit mundial Is Killing Me (2005). Su lanzamiento fue un gran éxito y consiguió colocarse en la cima de numerosos charts en todo el mundo y convirtiéndose en la canción más pinchada en cada cabina del planeta.  Se podría decir que Is Killing Me y su gran influencia en el mercado musical, marcó con diferencia esa época.

N&D  son 2 de los  Djs Españoles con mayor presencia Internacional  y honorablemente respetados por todo el mundo en la escena underground. Su presencia ha estado en la mayoría de los clubs de España y han dando la vuelta al mundo repetidas veces. Entre ellos podríamos destacar  Club Catwalk (Barcelona), SeOne (London), Space (Miami), Penetra Ibiza (World Tour), El Divino (Ibiza) entre muchos otros.

Obsesionados en encontrar y exponer músicas nuevas, dedicaron días enteros en su estudio de ingeniería de sonido creciendo profesionalmente a una velocidad increíble y eso conlleva a lo inevitable: empezaron a crear un estilo propio y único. House, Techno, Minimal y toda una fusión de estilos les acercan a la cima mundial  con producciones como The Crawl, Y que Mas, Is Killing Me, Caliente, Katrinyla y Rumba por nombrar algunos.  Sus producciones alcanzan el Top 100 en Beatport y en numerosas ocasiones el Top 10. 

Muchos de sus tracks son licenciados para compilaciones incluyendo sets de Josh Wink, Funkagenda, HCCR, Pete Tong, y Peter Rauhoffer así como para recopilatorios de grandes sellos como Universal, Defected, CR2, Toolroom Records, Pacha, Milk & Sugar y Ministry Of Sound  entre otros.

Siguiendo su gran sueño y sus ganas de sacar al mercado buena música, Nick & Danny Chatelain crean sus propios sellos Goanche Recordings y Uniform Inflow.  Los dos han sido enormemente exitosos  con cada uno de los releases que entraron fuerte en numerosos charts incluyendo Beatport 100.  El sello Goanche ha invitado artistas como MastikSoul, HCCR, Rodri Deniz, Camilo Franco, Edu Reyes, David Penn & Rober Gaez, Dario Nuñez y Klement Bonelli.  Su sello Uniform Inflow  identifica su lado más underground incluyendo artistas de la talla de  Tom Stephan (Superchumbo), DJ Pepo & Pacho B, Bertech & Loiter, Renace & Rafa Siles, D-Formation y Carlo Lio.

En este año 2009 Nick & Danny Chatelain  han firmado sus últimas producciones  en exclusiva para los sellos más importantes del mundo nombrando entre ellos,  Rumba firmado por Defected, We Feel Love firmado por  Toolroom Records, Baila Baila firmado por 4Kenzo Recordings y X Sonar 2020 por Cr2 Records.

Sus tracks los siguen pinchando constantemente los nombres más grandes del mundo incluyéndolos en sus mejores sesiones de radio como Pete Tong Essential Collection para Radio 1 (UK), Ministry of Sound, Radio Decibel (Holanda), 40 Principales, Maxima Fm y Loca Fm.

Han sido nominados en varias ocasiones y en varias categorías como Mejores Productores y Disco Del Año en los Premios de la DeejayMags Awards (Spain) en el 2006 y en el 2008 so nominados a Mejor DJ Del Año y Mejor Tech House DJ.  Siguiendo esta trayectoria seguro que podemos esperar muchas más nominaciones y premios en los próximos años.

BIO - English

The music has been the largest passion in the life of Nick and Danny Chatelain and they have always felt the need to share that passion with other people. Gurus in their native Spain, Nick and Danny had their first encounter with music at the tender age of 8 and 6 years respectively, their father was one of the first deejays in Ibiza to emerge at the end of the 60s (Club Nito's).

Nick and Danny grasped the attention of the legendary record label Ovum Recordings, creating their own distinctive style of the sound of the dance floor. The presentation of N&D to the World was marked with the release of Is Killing Me (2005). The release was a huge success and topped numerous charts around the world as well as being an essential tune for any set list. Is Killing Me has gone on to be named as one of the most influential releases of that era.

N&D are two of the Spanish deejays with the highest international presence and are globally respected in the underground scene. They have played in such venues as Club Catwalk (Barcelona), SeOne (London), Space (Miami), Penetra Ibiza (World Tour), El Divino (Ibiza) and many more across the world.

Obsessed with finding and exposing new music, they have been professionally coached in the study of sound engineering and it was inevitable that they would begin to create their own style, ranging from House, Techno, Minimal and beyond they have been at the top of the international game for many years with huge anthems such as The Crawl, Y Que Mas, Is Killing Me, Caliente, Katrinyla and Rumba to name a few. Their releases have consistently charted high in the Beatport 100 and on numerous occasions sat high in the Top 10. Their tracks are consistently played by some of the biggest names in the world including plays on some of the biggest dance radio shows such as Pete Tongs Essential collection for Radio 1 (UK), Ministry of Sound, Radio Decibel, 40 Principales, Maxima Fm, and Loca Fm.

They have been nominated for many awards during their career; they were voted ‘Best producers of the Year’ and ‘Track of the Year’ for Is Killing Me at the DeejayMags Awards (Spain) in 2006 and at the 2008 awards they were nominated for the ‘Best DJ of the Year’ and ‘Best Tech House DJ’.
