Straight out of Long Beach's East Village Arts District comes an artist with a naive yet stubborn drive for perfection. Steven Amado (CHATISMO) is an up and coming painter/muralist currently working and exhibiting in the Downtown district.
"I always considered modern day life along with yesterday's myths, history and cultures to be the greatest forms of inspiration. They are what I feed from as an artist. The sole reason for being is to find new and toughtful means of creation, a new way to further that search within myself. Love Never Fails will be the theme for our next art show coming this February 2010 and you're invited to participate.
The location will be at the Creative Design Lab in Long Beach, 441 East First Street.
If you're interested in turning in a piece of art in any media form, please let me know.
Art is due no later than February 11, 2010. Late entries will not be accepted.
Please include the name of your piece, the materials used, price and contact information. You're welcome to have a summary of your experience or statement explaining your artwork posted along with your piece.
The show will take place during Artwalk which is from 5pm to 10pm.
We welcome any ideas or suggestions you may have for the show. If you'd like to help or invite other artist, please feel free to do so.
