My interests include both of my cats, Galileo and Max A Million, and my dog Sir Nicholas. They are all great!
I love reading, hiking, fishing, going to the movies, playing pool, and horseback riding.
Anything to do with wolves, horses, or cats will keep me interested for hours. I've also started bird watching since moving to NC.
I really like camping, swimming, eating out, traveling, and going to horse shows. I love star gazing, too.
Recently I've gotten into becoming more Eco-Friendly. Global Warming is definitely not going away and we all need to do our part in saving our planet.

Music... hmmm, I listen to a very wide variety of music.
Toby Keith, Gretchen Wilson, Kenny Chesney, and Reba McEntire are some of my favorites in country.
Destiny's Child, Kelly Clarkson, Shakira, and Evanescence are some pop singers I like.
(Old)Metallica, System of a Down, and Disturbed are my very favorites in metal.
Lynyrd Skynyrd, Eagles, Pink Floyd, and Queen are excellent classic rock groups.
I also like some opera and classical music.

Books
I like just about anything by Stephen King, Saranne Dawson, Catherine Coulter, Susan Krinard, Linda Leal Miller, Catherine Spangler, Robin D. Owens, Lori Handeland, Rebeca York and Marjorie M. Liu.
"Gone With The Wind" and "To Kill A Mockingbird" are two books I could read over and over.
Heroes

I have many heroes.
Soldiers, Policemen, Policewomen, and Firefighters are the first to spring to my mind. They are most selfless people. They run into action when when most people are running out. They protect and serve with little or no thought to their own safety.
My parents are also my heroes. Even after 35 years of being married, they still love each other. I think that is something to be very proud of.

I really believe that what you do defines you. If you believe in a certain way of life, you must live that way. A person may have the best intentions, but if they don't follow through with them, they are just a hypocrite.
My favorite things to do center around the outdoors. I love stargazing, hiking, camping, fishing, swimming, horseback riding, and going to horse shows. I love to travel. I've started bird watching since moving to North Carolina, also. Since I really don't like the heat and humidity, I normally do these things during the spring and fall. The exception to this is swimming. I'm not a polar bear! I love going to the pool when it's hot and I forget to get out.
Indoor things I like doing include shooting pool, going to the movies, going out for dinner, reading, and staying at home to watching TV. One of my favorite things to do in the summer is to go to Dunkin Donuts with a friend/s and just talk about the subject of the day.
"Must Love Dogs" has to be my favorite movie. I have watched that movie at least a dozen times and I still can't watch it enough! (And I LOVE John Cusack!)
I'm owned by two cats. I have a dog but he's at my parents house since I work long hours. I work up to 60 hours per week, so I'm not lazy and I actually love my job. I work for a bank in their Risk Management Department. It's a fulfilling job and there is always something new to learn.
I try to be funny all the time and love to joke. I'm a deep thinker, an animal lover, and a tomboy. I'm definitely more comfortable in a pair of jeans than a skirt. I like the small things in life and try not to take them for granted.
My friends call me "chatty" because I love to talk and because I speak my mind. I say what I mean and mean what I say.
I've always been known as an animal person. I will fight for the smallest animal, if I feel it is the right thing to do. Now I'm adding environmentalist to my repertoire. I want to become more eco-friendly and lessen my carbon footprint on earth.
I remember in school how the teachers would talk about global warming, recycling, and disposing garbage in the right receptacles. I never wanted to pay attention because maybe if I ignored them long enough, these problems would just disappear.
If you just listen to some of the facts about global warming that have been happening in our lifetime, it would chill you to the bone. I don't like to sit back and do nothing. I want to do my part and then some.
I admire honesty, patience, and compassion in others.
Oh, and my favorite body part on a person is their eyes. I believe they are the window to a person's soul. I've been told I have very expressive eyes.

Who I'd like to meet:
This is a really tough question. There are so many people I'd like to meet.
The Pope would probably be one person. I would love to debate with him on some policies that I find are unrealistic.
George W. Bush would be another, for the same reason.
I want to meet Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, and Kelly Clarkson because I love their music and they each have great style.
I also want to meet John Cusack, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Johnny Depp because I think they are sexy, I love their work, and I respect all three. If I had to pick from these three actors, I would pick Leo. He's an exceptional actor but it's his environmental work that interests me.
