The Spiel
My name is Dan.
I live on the Isle of Wight. Which is a shithole basically. Most people think it's not that dodgy. They clearly have never been to Slade Road or Preston Close. Some day I'm going to build an self-sustaining eco-system in an underground bio-dome in Antartica so when zombies take over the earth and all that shit, I'll be okay.

I am currently studying music at college and I want to become a professional musician/composer/musicologist. There is nothing I like to do better than to scare chavs by blaring out various obscure fusion genres from my windows. I would like to study a doctorate someday. Seriously, how cool would it be to introduce youself as a doctor? Exactly. It's something that nobody can resist. I play guitar to a variable degree of success. I've been writing lots of really obscure progressive metal. Listening to too much in one go makes you go insane though.

I have Asperger's Syndrome. So basically I'm recluse when I'm not with my friends or people that I know. I can spend hours studying and memorising stuff about stuff I find interesting. I don't like it when people get things wrong. I used to get in trouble at school all the time for pointing out where the teachers got stuff wrong or not paying attention to stuff I already knew. I'm also pretty literal. I can understand irony, sarcasm and satire but not all the time. I can be quite pedantic sometimes and go on about stuff I like to people who probably don't care. I used to think I was some sort of sage, but I don't really care anymore. If stupid people want to believe impossible things then it's fine by me although I do get insatiable urges to correct people. In case you can't tell I like explaining things but sometimes it takes me awhile to explain what I'm thinking. As a result I can waffle.

I dislike people who lie all the time. Trying to get people to like you for what you're not is well shameful. I also really dislike when people claim to be something when it's blatantly obvious they are not and then what really grills my cheese is when stupid people believe them. Also, people who claim to be free-thinkers but really really aren't. People who claim to know what they are talking about but in reality they do not and when gullible people lap up their horse shit. Ugh. I used to be a Nihilist when I was a kid but I did't even care about that in the end. I believe in God now and read The Bible, it's actually pretty good. I can't see why people have any gripes with it at all. I don't like it when people tell other people what and how to think and then criticise other people of doing it. I may write some book someday just to say to people: EASE UP!!! I might also postulate some scientific theories/hypothesises but I'm not sure if I can be bothered. If I get the chance I may create some kind of TV series documenting the magical adventures that I think I've had at college with people. It'll probably turn out like a combo of the Mighty Boosh and /b/ though. So basically 13 year old kids on crystal meth with guns. Hmmm...
